Mike Braun, Senior Operating Officer and Chief Digital Officer, Gray Media

Mike Braun is responsible for the overall day-to-day digital operation, including, content, engineering and programmatic revenue at Gray Media. He also oversees the company’s local broadcasting stations in Illinois and Iowa.

Braun has been with Gray Media for 26 years and has held many roles in the organization in the areas of digital sales, digital content and technology innovation. He first joined the broadcasting industry in the late 1990s with Benedek Broadcasting where he helped create one of the first local broadcasting digital divisions in the nation.

Prior to entering the broadcast world, Braun spent two years with the Chicago Blackhawks in public relations where he worked on game-day news media operations. Prior to this, he worked in the pharmaceutical and home health care industry for seven years.
