
Callie Fin is a passionate storyteller with a demonstrated commitment to women’s sports. Primarily covering the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces for the Las Vegas Review-Journal since 2024, she has driven significant audience growth to the local newspaper through in-depth features, breaking news and enterprise reporting on one of the most dynamic teams in professional sports. Callie additionally contributes to the Review-Journal’s coverage of UNLV sports and the Las Vegas Raiders.
Previously, she worked as a breaking and trending news writer for Yahoo Sports, where she covered major national storylines while also highlighting women athletes in interviews and other on-camera content across platforms. She also served as on-air talent for NBC Sports, co-hosting a women’s sports video podcast and appearing on Peacock programming to discuss a variety of topics in the evolving sports landscape. Her earlier experience spans print, digital, and production. She worked in entry-level roles at ESPN and Front Office Sports, where she covered sports business, investment trends, and emerging leagues.
A former collegiate track & field athlete, Callie holds a master’s degree in broadcast & electronic communication from San Francisco State University. She also earned a bachelor’s in media & cultural studies with a minor in business marketing from UC Riverside.
