He spearheaded the development of the NFL’s first non–tape-based replay system in standard definition, later refining the platform with expanded data integration and a transition to high definition. For the NBA, Rich led the vendor team that designed and implemented the HSAN all-arena and league headquarters connectivity system, enabling higher-quality video, audio, data, and timing exchange. This advancement fundamentally reshaped league workflows for archiving and replay systems, establishing a new standard for operational efficiency.
