Phil Petitpont, CEO and Co-Founder, Moments Lab

Phil Petitpont co-founded Moments Lab to tackle the challenge of managing the overwhelming amount of video content generated by media rights holders. As CEO, he signed Moments Lab’s first customers in 2017 and grew the company in the media, entertainment and sports industries. Moments Lab has focused on AI for video indexing since its early days and in 2023 launched MXT, an AI capable of describing video sequences like a human. Since 2019, Petitpont has focused on scaling Moments Lab globally, partnering with production companies, TV networks, press agencies and sports organizations. Before founding Moments Lab, Petitpont spent eight years as a broadcast engineer with TF1 and worked for the French media group M6.
