Lisa Gerber has been at the front lines of entertainment since her start as a young actor. Turning to the other side of the camera, she spent two decades in TV & film casting, development, and post-production sound. After a stint in sponsorships at the Producers Guild, she took on a role connecting studios and high tech as Director of Strategic Partnerships at The Advanced Imaging Society.

Later, as a Co-Founder at Alchemy Tech & Entertainment Group, Lisa supported companies like Cisco, and two major studios through co-innovation partnerships and new product launches.

Turning to networking and the cloud, Lisa took a role as the Head of M&E at PacketFabric, a Network-as-a-Service provider, delivering new approaches to infrastructure for an industry facing a global pandemic. Here, she desiged and deployed a first-of-its-kind connectivity suite for Orbital Studios, an LA based Virtual Production stage.

At Amazon Web Services, she oversaw Media & Entertainment partnerships for the AWS Professional Services organization. Here she focused particularly on identifying partners specializing in live cloud production, audience engagement and studio modernization.

Lisa is now at Lumen Technologies, where she oversees the M&E modernization team and new solutions roadmap. She leads strategy for Vyvx, Lumen’s flagship broadcast transport network for live media, alongside NaaS and Lumen Edge — the connectivity and compute backbone enabling creative production and studio modernization.
