
Laura Johnson is Sr. Director, Game Presentation & Live Events for the San Francisco 49ers, where she leads game presentation, live events, and entertainment. With over 20 years of experience, she specializes in delivering large-scale experiences that blend creativity, technology, and operations.
Her career spans some of the most iconic events in sports, including 10 Super Bowls, the College Football Playoff National Championship, NCAA Men’s Final Four, and the Kentucky Derby, with work across multiple professional leagues and organizations
Now in her 19th NFL season and 11th with the 49ers, Johnson has evolved from producing individual shows to architecting entire systems. In 2025, she led a $70M transformation of Levi’s Stadium’s production infrastructure, including a 4K UHD control room, 4K videoboards, enhanced LED lighting and audio systems, and integrated workflows designed for next-generation, tech-driven fan experiences.
She leads a 250-person game day operation and directs a core team delivering hundreds of live show elements each game. Her work has helped establish best practices at the 49ers and shape game presentation across the league. She is sought out across the industry for her approach to process, planning, execution, and creative storytelling, bringing intentionality and structure to complexity while elevating the creative standard.
Johnson is passionate about building systems that scale, leveraging technology to enhance creative storytelling, developing people, and defining what the next generation of stadium experiences looks like.
