Kristian Hernández is the Senior Editor of Sports Video Group, where he is responsible for covering team-based and in-venue productions as well as various sports technology topics. As the program director of the annual SVG Venues & Teams Summit, Hernández has provided a platform for both production professionals and tech vendors to shed light on the latest innovations impacting the live fan experience.

Since joining SVG in 2018, Hernández has become a valuable resource for the industry by focusing on the ever-changing needs of professional sports teams and the technological evolution of venues across the U.S. In addition to his teams- and venue-centric duties, he has offered insights to the behind-the-scenes efforts of four Super Bowls, four Men’s Final Fours, two Olympics, two FIFA World Cups, and many other tentpole events.

Prior to his time with Sports Video Group, Hernández served as co-founder of CHC-TV — the first student-run television studio at Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, PA — and produced “On the Hill with Hernández”, a daily sports program covering all men’s and women’s Division II athletics for the college. He also spearheaded the college’s newspaper, “The Griffin”, as its Sports Editor.
