Jeremy Berg, VP Multiplatform, NBCUniversal Local

Jeremy Berg is an award-winning media professional and an innovative leader in the world of multiplatform video.

Currently serving as the director of digital video for NBCUniversal Local, he has been at the forefront of shaping the multiplatform landscape. His ability to harness the power of storytelling across platforms led to the launch of the group’s Digital Innovation Team in 2016. Berg leads the unique team of creators focused on content experimentation and delivering to many platforms across a division that includes 40+ NBC and Telemundo stations and several regional sports networks. The Digital Innovation Team serves as a centralized hub, tasked to think outside the box when covering tentpole events like elections, the Olympic Games and the World Cup.

Berg has won multiple Emmy awards for his work. He also recently served as executive producer of My New Favorite Olympian/My New Favorite Futbolista, which was recognized as Best Sports Podcast by CynopsisSports Media and the Signal Awards.

Before his time at NBCUniversal Local, Berg served as executive producer of ThePostGame, a branded content sports production company that delivered custom video solutions to large brands across all sports.

Prior to that, he spent seven years at Fox Sports Digital, covering many of sports’ biggest events, including Super Bowls, World Series, Olympic Games and more.

His journey in the media industry began with his education at New York University, where he pursued his passion for journalism and mass communication. During his time at NYU, he honed his storytelling skills and developed a deep understanding of the evolving media landscape. Eager to expand his knowledge further, he obtained his master’s degree from the prestigious USC School of Cinema and Television.
