Daniel McNeil is a Digital Asset Manager and media workflow specialist with a diverse background spanning film production, enterprise content systems, and data-driven asset management. Currently serving as a Data Asset Manager for the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth, he focuses on designing scalable workflows, organizing large-scale media libraries, and building robust metadata taxonomies that improve discoverability and operational efficiency. His work bridges the gap between creative production and technical infrastructure, ensuring that media assets are accessible, structured, and aligned with organizational needs.
His career began in film and television production, where he worked across nearly every department before specializing in on-set data management and post-production workflows. As a DIT and Data Manager, he developed and executed end-to-end media workflows, including secure transfer, verification, and archival processes. He later transitioned into enterprise Digital Asset Management roles where he led DAM implementations, improved workflows, and supported large-scale content operations. Daniel brings a practical, hands-on perspective to media management, combining technical expertise with real-world production experience to deliver efficient, scalable solutions.
