Eddie Okuno is Director, Specialist Operations at ESPN, where he leads remote technical planning and execution for the NBA on ESPN and ABC. His work spans engineering and production workflow design, signal integration across ESPN’s global infrastructure, and the continual advancement of live game coverage.

With over three decades of experience on NBA broadcasts, Okuno plays a key role in evolving how the game is produced—collaborating across engineering and production teams to enhance efficiency, innovation, and on-air quality. He is also recognized as one of the pioneering center-court camera operators, helping establish what has become a standard viewing angle in modern basketball coverage. Okuno is also the tech lead for Monday Night Football and ESPN’s upcoming Super Bowl LXI on February 2027.Prior to ESPN, Okuno served as Senior Technical Manager at NBC Sports, where he worked on the NBA on NBC, NFL broadcasts, Super Bowls, and the Olympic Games.
