
Michael Raimondo is the vice president of broadcast technology at the PGA TOUR. Raimondo oversees a team at the TOUR that includes broadcast engineering and operations, media asset management, transmission operations, content distribution, and remote technical operations. Since joining the TOUR in 2003 he has been instrumental in numerous projects including the launch of the TOUR’s Media Asset Management system, the deployment of SS-TOUR, a nine-truck broadcast fleet used at nearly every PGA TOUR tournament, and the technical design and oversight of PGA TOUR Studios the state-of-the-art media facility in Ponte Vedra Beach Florida.
Raimondo got his start in the business in New York City at MTI – The Image Group (now NEP Studios) as a systems engineer wiring and building studios and edit suites. During his tenure from 1993 to 1998, the company expanded from one studio facility to seven. Following his time at MTI, Raimondo worked as a staff engineer for rental companies such as Bexel, Charter, and Duke City Video supplying technical equipment and on-site support for various clients around the globe.
