Close to a decade ago, CBC/Radio-Canada jumped in the IP train with the clear objective to transform audio/video production and to open the door to software based production. Thanks to the EBU’s Dynamic Media Facilities Reference Architecture, this vision is now becoming a reality. This presentation explains how the DMF-RA was used by CBC/Radio-Canada during the Milano-Cortina Olympic Games, and what lessons were learned.
