Dr. Syed is a Subject Mater Expert in Video and Streaming and has been responsible for leading, chairing, and contributing to many standards and specifications for over 25 years across areas of video, transport, delivery, & streaming. Most recently he was a distinguished architect at Comcast, but has had senior roles at CableLabs, ATEME, Hewlett-Packard, and Texas Instruments. Previously he led the Emmy winning CableLabs ADI VoD Metadata Project. He is also the 2021 recipient of the SCTE award for excellance in standards.
