Sally-Ann D’Amato is Executive Director of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE), where she leads the organization’s strategic, operational, and governance priorities in service of the global media technology community. A 20-plus-year SMPTE veteran, she brings deep institutional knowledge shaped by leadership roles spanning operations, events, and board governance.

Since joining SMPTE in 2001, D’Amato has overseen key milestones, including the Society’s centennial celebration and the continued evolution of the SMPTE Media Technology Summit.
