Roberto Miquel is an executive producer, director, and creative innovator with nearly three decades of experience in global television and large-scale entertainment production. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with major media companies including TelevisaUnivision, working across scripted series, reality formats, live broadcasts, and international entertainment events.

He gained international recognition as Online Producer of the Emmy-nominated series Los Simuladores, a Sony Pictures Television and Televisa production. His career also includes leadership roles in major productions such as Olympic Games coverage, FIFA World Cup programming, Kids’ Choice Awards, and large-scale live television specials. In addition, Miquel has participated as Associate Producer on several prime-time telenovelas broadcast on Televisa’s flagship network, Las Estrellas, further expanding his experience in high-profile scripted television.

In recent years, Miquel has focused on the intersection of storytelling and emerging technologies. Through ViX Micro, he became the first producer to integrate Virtual Production techniques into vertical short-form storytelling, elevating the cinematic quality of mobile-first content. He is currently involved in the development of AI-driven content workflows and next-generation production pipelines, exploring new ways to combine generative technologies, virtual production, and innovative storytelling for the evolving digital entertainment landscape.
