Ron Gonser has been the Senior broadcast engineer for the Kennedy Space Center for almost 19 years, designing upgrades and supporting all NASA live broadcasts from the center to include launches, other various events and supporting NASA launch broadcasts from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California since 2011. He received two Emmy Awards, one for the NASA SpaceX Demonstration Mission-1 launch and the second for NASA’s 2024 Total Solar Eclipse broadcast. He also received a Space Flight Awareness Silver Snoopy Award (which no more than 1% of the workforce receives annually) for designing the KSC UHD studio and support provided to KSC.
