
Phil Green is an award-winning media executive with decades of experience driving digital innovation across sports, media, entertainment, and news. As VP of Media and Strategic Accounts at Brightcove — the world’s most trusted video engagement technology company — he leads strategic partnerships with industry powerhouses including AMC Networks, CW Network, NHL, the Oscars, PGA TOUR, and Yahoo.
Phil’s career spans some of the most respected names in the industry, including Endeavor, USTA, MLB, MLS, ESPN, ABC Sports, and CBS News. At MLB Advanced Media, he served as General Manager of Sports on Earth, overseeing digital rights and streaming for Major League Soccer, US Figure Skating, and the YES Network. As a senior leader at the USTA, he launched live streaming for the US Open and a suite of award-winning mobile apps that significantly grew audience engagement and revenue. During eight years with ESPN and ABC Sports at The Walt Disney Company, he pioneered web video strategy for ESPN.com and led digital content for Monday Night Football and the Bowl Championship Series.
His expertise spans OTT, monetization, content strategy, rights negotiation, and team leadership, with a consistent track record of turning emerging digital platforms into sustainable growth engines. Phil holds a degree with distinction from the University of Michigan and is based in Westchester, New York.
