Matthew Celia is a 2025 Emmy Award winning chief creative director and co-founder of Light Sail VR, an immersive cinema studio based in Los Angeles.

He is a leading voice in immersive cinema whose work focuses on bringing cinematic storytelling into virtual reality.

Over the past decade, Matt has guided Light Sail VR in producing more than 200 immersive films for partners that include Meta, Google, Canon, and studio teams worldwide.

Matt draws on early experience at Warner Bros. and years of hands-on production and post-production work to shape immersive moments with emotional weight. His craft defines Light Sail VR as an immersive studio that builds each project around story and presence.

He earned his BFA in film production with honors from Chapman University.
