Lee Erickson is the Enterprise Video Services Lead for NASA’s $2.5B AEGIS program, bringing over 18 years of specialized IT and media experience to the agency. He spearheaded NASA’s modernization by transitioning its infrastructure to a highly scalable, IP-based video delivery network. Recently, Lee utilized this Enterprise Video Content Delivery Network (EVCDN) to broadcast the OSIRIS-REx asteroid sample return to global networks. Prior to NASA, he held leadership roles at Fox Television and The New York Times. A distinguished IT professional, Lee is a dual Emmy Award winner—most recently earning a 2024 Technology & Engineering Emmy for his pivotal engineering role in NASA’s 2024 Total Solar Eclipse live broadcast. His extensive list of accolades also includes an Emmy for “2 On Your Side – Trouble in School,” a Gold Telly, two Webby Awards, two NAB Awards, and a NASA Silver achievement award.
