Laquie TN Campbell is a creative technologist and marketing leader with nearly 20 years of experience at the intersection of technical innovation and storytelling. Currently serving as the Media and Entertainment Senior Product Marketing Manager for Backblaze, Laquie specializes in bridging the gap between complex workflow solutions and the creative professionals who rely on them.

​With a deep technical foundation in picture and sound editorial, sound design, title design, on-set production, and media-focused applications, Laquie has collaborated with industry leaders including Skywalker Sound and Dolby. Her expertise is backed by a robust academic profile, including an MA in Communication and the Arts (Sound Design/Editing) and a Business degree, alongside certifications in Generative AI Prompt Engineering, AI Product Marketing and Management, and UX/UI Design.

​An active and dedicated member of the SMPTE community, Laquie currently serves as the SMPTE Director of Education focused on programming, as well as several other committees, contributing her insights to educational programming that highlights the evolution of standards and workflows, mentorship, and community building. She is also a member of Women in Streaming Media and the Hollywood Professional Association (HPA).

​Beyond her corporate leadership, Laquie is the founder of Phoenix Underground Collective, a movement for creative technologists building the tools shaping culture and the care infrastructure to sustain them. She remains a passionate advocate for social impact, having co-founded organizations dedicated to combating sex trafficking and supporting unhoused children.
