Kathleen Barrett is the Chief Executive Officer of Backlight, an enterprise video technology company. She leads a global team dedicated to building award-winning video SaaS products for media and entertainment businesses.

Kathleen previously served as the CEO of IAC subsidiary Mosaic Group and oversaw the growth and acquisition of 40+ apps including Robokiller, iTranslate, and NOAA Weather Radar Live: Clime. Prior to that, she was SVP of Enterprise and Head of Creator Success at video platform Vimeo. She helped take the company public in 2021 and led the company’s enterprise video team, scaling it from less than $1M to over $150M in annual bookings. Kathleen began her career at Goldman Sachs, working in various roles across M&A, credit risk management, and special assets management. She holds a BA from New York University.

Originally from Brooklyn, Kathleen now lives in upstate New York with her husband and daughter.
