In 1983, John Sculley was recruited by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs to be Apple CEO and his partner. During Sculley’s 10 years as Apple CEO he is credited with saving Apple from potential bankruptcy and transforming the struggling early Macintosh into the largest selling personal computer by 1992. Sculley introduced major creative innovations including PageMaker publishing, PhotoShop, and PowerPoint that made Macintosh so popular for creative productivity. Prior to Apple, Sculley was Pepsi-Cola Co CEO best known for passing Coca-Cola in the famous Cola Wars.
