
Jeff Roth is a Founding Partner of Bruin Capital, serving as the company’s financial, strategic, and deal lead. A highly accomplished investment, M&A, and finance executive, Roth combines his vast experience with a nuanced perspective on the changing dynamics of the sports, media, technology, and entertainment landscape. Roth is responsible for leading investments, including origination, evaluation, structuring, and negotiating terms. He also works on fundraising and assists portfolio companies with strategic and financial matters.
Jeff plays an integral role in all of Bruin’s acquisitions and continues to shape and execute Bruin’s investment strategy. Today, the Bruin portfolio spans 38 offices in nine countries with 1,700 personnel. Under Roth, Bruin has completed more than 40 acquisitions. In recognition of this work and his leadership, Roth was named to Sports Business Journal’s prestigious 40-Under-40 list and the Leaders 40 list of the sports industry’s best young talent in the world.
Before Bruin, Roth was a Vice President at Allen & Company, advising large and small-cap media, entertainment, technology, and sports clients on mergers and acquisitions, capital raises, and strategic initiatives. Roth began his career in the TMT investment banking group at Citigroup.
He holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and resides with his wife and three daughters in Old Greenwich, Connecticut.
