He has worked in production for 30 years and has been at the forefront of many changes including the move from SD to HD and from tape based to file based workflows. He has extensive experience in technical operations having worked in News, Sport, Children’s TV Long form production. He previously worked with the BBC R&D team where he worked on IP production and the use of 5G in production for which he was nominated and won several innovation awards.
