Frederico de Siqueira Filho has been the Minister of Communications since May 7, 2025.

He holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Pernambuco. He has over 26 years of professional experience in the telecommunications and IT sector, including 21 years at Oi, where he held leadership positions in the areas of Operations, Planning, Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial Strategy.

He began his career in 1997 as a technical engineering coordinator at Autelserv Telecomunicações. In 2002, he took on the role of Corporate Sales Manager at Oi for the states of Pernambuco, Paraíba, and Bahia. This marked the beginning of a successful professional journey at the company, where he spent 10 years as Director of Institutional Relations at Oi Brasil, leading a team of institutional representatives in the state. He later became Director of Corporate Government Sales at Oi Soluções, overseeing commercial leadership in the North and Northeast regions.

At Telebras, the state-owned telecommunications company linked to the Ministry of Communications, Frederico served as President from May 2023 to May 2025.

Frederico de Siqueira Filho also has knowledge in Administration, Political Science, Communication, and several areas of Management, including Crisis Management, Third-Party Management, and Project Management. Married, with 2 children.
