
Fiona Li is a media executive and producer with over a decade
of experience bridging the entertainment industries of Asia and
the United States. She currently serves as Studio Head at COL
Media, the U.S. arm of COL Group, one of China’s largest IP
holders and leading production studios. At COL, she oversees
international strategy and creative development across film,
television, and digital content.
Her background includes work on global campaigns for Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles, Terminator: Genisys, James Bond:
Spectre, and Transformers 4, as well as producing the
international thriller Wrong Turn (2021) and contributing to the
award-winning short Drone.
At COL Media, Fiona is developing a slate of global series
inspired by top Asian online literary IPs, partnering with Oscar-
and Emmy-winning producers to bring these stories to
international audiences. Her focus lies in transforming culturally
rooted narratives into commercially accessible projects that
resonate across markets.
COL Group is also among the early pioneers of mobile-first
mini dramas, operating three vertical-drama platforms including
its flagship app FlareFlow. Fiona’s division collaborates with
the Group’s creative teams to explore cross-platform storytelling
and emerging digital formats, driving the company’s vision for
the next generation of entertainment.
Renowned for her cross-market fluency, creative instinct, and
strategic leadership, Fiona continues to forge new pathways for Storytelling between the east and west.
