Faisal Ishtiaq is an award-winning AI and machine learning executive with over 25 years of experience building large-scale video intelligence and media analytics platforms used by millions of viewers every day. He spent nearly a decade at Comcast leading an AI organization of 70+ engineers and researchers, delivering AI-powered experiences across Xfinity, Peacock, Sky, and NBCUniversal. He holds 57 patents, received a personal Technical Emmy Award in 2023 for AI/ML-driven sports highlights, and his VideoAI platform earned NAB’s Product of the Year in 2022. Faisal received his PhD in Electrical Engineering from Northwestern, is an Associate Editor at IEEE, and a 2024 Comcast Fellow to the Aspen Institute.
