
Deborah Parenti is president and publisher of the Media Division of Streamline Publishing.
In this role, Deborah oversees Radio Ink and Radio + Television Business Report and its various conferences, including Forecast and the Hispanic Radio Conference.
A native Daytonian, Deborah’s broadcasting career started at WING in Dayton, Ohio, where she rose to vice president and assistant general manager. She later joined Stoner Broadcasting, serving as general sales manager at Stoner’s WDJX in Louisville before returning to Dayton in 1990 as vice president and general manager of WWSN (now WMMX).
She was later named vice president and general manager of American Radio Systems’ six-station Dayton group and earned national attention for developing one of the first consolidated radio sales platforms, “Radio First!” From Dayton she went on to Philadelphia, where she managed Beasley Broadcast Group’s WXTU-FM. From 1999-2010, she served on the board of Vox Radio.
Deborah is a previous board member of the Alliance for Women in Media and currently serves on the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation board and the Radio Hall of Fame’s nominating committee.
A recipient of numerous honors for her advocacy and industry leadership, she received the MIW Trailblazer’s Award in April 2025 and was presented Gracies Leadership Award from the Alliance for Women in Media in 2024. In 2023 she was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame and was the recipient of the Broadcasters Foundation of America Leadership Award that same year. In 2022 Deborah was presented with the Dayton Broadcasters Hall of Fame Lifetime Achievement Award, having previously been inducted into the organization’s Hall of Fame in 2009.
