Daryl is Vice President Operations for CSD Group and is a seasoned industry veteran who began his career on the other side of the stage, as a professional musician, and like many others, became a Front of House band engineer, mixing a variety of performances in countless venues. He also studied management and hospitality, in order to create unique experiences for audiences. He served as Chief Audio Engineer for a 14,000-member mega-church for ten years, and from there, moved into designing and installing performance AVL systems for Audio Analysts, and Solotech, both large touring companies with design/build departments, providing systems for many celebrated entertainers and venues across the country. This wide range of experience gives him a unique perspective in understanding the needs and requirements of both technical staff and onstage talent when creating custom AVL solutions for new construction and refab projects.

In 2014, he and a business partner launched Second Opinion Audio and based it in Colorado Springs. SOA was acquired by CSD Group in 2020. Daryl’s role as VP of Operations consists of design & engineering, and overseeing operations of CSD employees and subcontractors for projects across the country.
