Darin Grant has almost 30 years of experience in Animation and VFX, currently serving as SVP, Global Technology at Netflix Animation Studios. Darin has held key technology roles at Animal Logic, Digital Domain, and DreamWorks Animation and has consulted on strategy and M&A for industry software providers, including Autodesk’s acquisition of Solid Angle (Arnold). An active industry volunteer, Darin is co-chair of the Academy’s Scientific and Technical Awards Executive Committee, Chair of ACM SIGGRAPH, and Treasurer of the Academy Software Foundation. He believes that volunteerism in your industry creates opportunities beyond your day job.
