Danay Faulkner is Senior Director of Sales & Affiliate Relations for CNN Newsource, where she has spent the past decade helping local affiliates expand the reach of their reporting with CNN’s content, resources, and expertise. With 15 years in digital and television news distribution, her career spans from early digital syndication to leading partnerships with some of the nation’s premier station groups and publishers.

Prior to CNN, her work at News Distribution Network, focused on digital innovation and monetization, gave her a front-row seat to the shifts in media technology. That experience continues to shape her consultative approach today, as she advises newsroom leaders and speaks at industry forums on strategies to adapt content and revenue while keeping storytelling at the center.

A graduate of the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism, Danay previously served on the board of The Red & Black to support the next generation of newsroom leaders. Based in Atlanta, she balances a love of fitness, travel, and the city’s vibrant food scene with being a proud mom to a high school senior preparing for college.
