April Carty-Sipp is executive vice president of Industry Affairs and Innovation for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), where she serves as a senior leader supporting and advancing the interests of local television and radio broadcasters nationwide.

In this role, she works closely with NAB’s Board of Directors and engages radio and television broadcasters, industry partners and prospective members across the country. She leads membership growth and engagement, oversees content and education initiatives and NAB Studio production and provides executive oversight of the organization’s technology and innovation strategy. Her work focuses on keeping broadcasters connected, supported and positioned for the future.

Prior to NAB, Carty-Sipp served as vice president and director of Programming at Disney ABC-owned WPVI-TV in Philadelphia, where she led local programming, production and public affairs and oversaw original content development. Earlier, she spent 12 years at Comcast/NBCUniversal, ultimately serving as senior vice president of Creative Services and Brand Integration for NBC Regional Sports Networks, guiding brand and content strategy across 14 sports and entertainment networks reaching 50 million U.S. homes.

She began her career in station programming and promotions at Paramount Stations Group-owned WPSG-TV and in professional sports with the Philadelphia Phillies at Veterans Stadium.

A six-time Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award winner, Carty-Sipp has been recognized by Radio Ink as one of its “Most Influential Women in Radio” for the past four years and has also been announced as one of the 2026 recipients of the Broadcaster Foundation of America Leadership Award. She serves on the Rowan University Foundation Board (Board Chair, 2020–2022) and the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation.

Carty-Sipp holds a B.A. in Communications from Rowan University and is a graduate of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute and Leadership Music Nashville.
