
Alison Martin is Vice President of Innovation & Strategy at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), where she works at the intersection of technology, law, and public policy on issues affecting the broadcasting and media sectors. Her work focuses on spectrum policy, artificial intelligence, and next-generation media technologies, with an emphasis on how regulatory frameworks interact with technical and market realities.
Previously, Alison served as Public Policy Manager at Meta, where she engaged with regulators worldwide on internet video and emerging media issues. She spent more than a decade at the U.S. Federal Communications Commission, including service as Deputy Chief Technologist and Chief Engineer of the Media Bureau, advising on spectrum management, broadcasting, and communications technology policy.
Alison holds a B.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.
