Alexandra Matcham

VP of Content at NBC Sports Philadelphia

Alexandra Matcham serves as vice president of content for NBC Sports Philadelphia.

In this role, Matcham leads NBC Sports Philadelphia’s multiplatform content strategy, including the network’s live-game coverage of the Philadelphia Flyers, 76ers and Phillies; news, analysis and commentary programming; and digital media editorial.

An award-winning content and production executive, Matcham joined NBC Sports Philadelphia in October 2024 after 18 years with NFL Media. Most recently, she served as coordinating producer, responsible for all East Coast editorial content and breaking news across TV, digital and social platforms, including Good Morning Football, which earned her a Sports Emmy. She also spent four years as senior producer after joining NFL Media as a producer in 2006.

Prior to NFL Media, Matcham spent two years with Fox Sports South, now FanDuel Sports South, producing pre- and post-game Braves coverage and NFL gameday shows covering the Falcons, Titans and Panthers. She began her career as a producer for CNN/SI, the former national sports network.

Matcham, who was born and raised in the Philadelphia area, graduated from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications with a degree in TV, radio and film production. As a college student, she interned with NBC Sports Philadelphia’s predecessor, PRISM.
