Alex Pearce is the CEO and Co-Founder of Sim-Plates, which specialize in CG Driving Plates for Virtual Production. Sim-Plates have been used in Feature Films, Television Shows, Commercials and Music videos.

As Virtual Production Supervisor, Alex has supervised Feature Films including Al Pacino’s Lear Rex, Music Videos including Linkin Park’s “Up From the Bottom”, and the Man On Fire TV Series, set to come out soon.

Previously, he was a Partner and Senior Creative Technologist at Light Sail VR where he oversaw the technical side of Light Sail VR including virtual production, photo-real visual effects, 3D pre-visualization as well as augmenting 360 video and real-time game engine development efforts. Work included creating immersive websites for Amazon Studios and crafting 3d animation for musician Jacob Collier.
