‘Everyone You Want to Speak to’ is at NAB Show New York

CueScript Founder and President, Michael Accardi, prioritizes attending two trade shows every year: NAB Show and NAB Show New York. Since launching his company at NAB Show in 2014, CueScript has returned to Vegas and New York for 20 shows.

As a teleprompting company based in Connecticut, exhibiting in New York City offers a unique regional advantage. “You have the infrastructure. You have the studios. You have the talent here. You have anything you need. It’s New York City,” Accardi said.

With many major broadcasters located within a 50-mile radius, the right people attend NAB Show New York. “It’s just amazing,” Accardi said. And we’re actually seeing people from outside that radius as well. We’re seeing people from as far away as Burbank.”

As a local vendor, CueScript also has the advantage of transporting its own equipment to the Show — a nice perk for a product-heavy company.

But it’s still a whirlwind of an experience.

“It’s four o’clock in the afternoon. It’s the first break I’ve taken,” Accardi said. “That’s a pretty good indication that you’re getting the right people and enough people to the show.”

An ‘Anchor’ on the Show Floor

CueScript’s booth serves as a home base throughout the Show, giving attendees a place to connect with the team and experience the products firsthand.

“You really need an anchor. You need a place where people can find you. You need a place to put your logo up. And if you’re an equipment-heavy company like us, to show some equipment,” Accardi said.

At the 2025 NAB Show New York, CueScript showcased its diverse lineup of products through a standard booth setup that allowed attendees to browse different options in one place. “When you have hardware, there’s nothing like being able to touch it and feel it and to work with it,” Accardi said.

Face-to-face time with customers is also one of the best ways to build trust and recommend solutions best suited to their needs.

One of CueScript’s goals at NAB Show New York was to introduce end users to the people behind the products and begin building relationships.

“We get to show the end users we’re the people they want to work with,” Accardi said “So it’s a really great place to show the quality, the depth, the attitude of the company.”

“They can see that when they’re dealing with CueScript, they’re dealing with a first-rate company, fully staffed, fully committed to the industry. And we get to show that quite well at NAB Show New York.”

As for next year, “we’re booked already,” Accardi said.
