Exhibitor Spotlight: ENCO Systems.
NAB Show is ‘Our Super Bowl’
From AI-powered captioning to global connections, ENCO Systems uses NAB Show to turn bold ideas into market-ready solutions for today’s diverse creative economy.
Eleven months out of the year, ENCO Systems prepares to answer one question at NAB Show: “What are you showcasing this year?”
For Ken Frommert, president of ENCO Systems, the Show is where those answers matter most. Buyers often hold off on purchasing products or making major decisions until they see the latest and greatest technology in person. “Our industry is very cyclical and revolves around NAB Show to this day,” Frommert said.
“I always refer to NAB Show as our Super Bowl. … This is the big launchpad for us.”
This year, ENCO’s booth was buzzing with activity as it debuted the CloudCap Delivery Network for captioning services. Integrated throughout the Show, CloudCap powered live captioning and translation in six languages across keynote and stage sessions. The launch coincided with the release of ENCO’s DoCaption EN848 encoder, the “Swiss Army knife” for encoding and transcoding, first introduced at NAB Show New York in October 2024.
AI in Action
Artificial intelligence dominated conversations across the show floor. But at ENCO’s booth, it wasn’t just talk. Their AI-driven captioning and advertising tools are already fueling growth for more than 1,000 radio stations.
Their product, SPECai, allows broadcasters to generate compelling localized spec ads in seconds, enabling them to sell ads quickly, seize timely opportunities and boost revenue.
“It’s great to see how fast something like that, a new product or a new technology, can actually get into the market,” Frommert said. “This is where you come together … and solve problems together to ultimately help the industry and our mutual customers.”

One Community, Many Faces
NAB Show isn’t just for broadcast or radio anymore. It has evolved with the industry, pivoting into a marketplace for the entire creative economy: streaming, podcasting, corporate and audio-visual companies.
“There’s something here for everybody,” Frommert said. “Any content producer, really.”
The Show also attracts an international community, giving ENCO access to clients and dealers from around the globe.
“This is the one major event where we see people from overseas,” Frommert said. “There’s no better place than NAB Show for us to have those face-to-face relationships with our international clients and dealers.”
For Frommert, connections are personal too. “I’ve made many relationships here on this show floor that to this day I’m close friends with,” he said. “If I happen to be on their side of the world or in their area, it’s like family.”
Why ENCO Keeps Coming Back
For ENCO Systems, NAB Show isn’t just about launching products — it’s about momentum. Conversations about AI turn into adoption. Global partnerships converge. The content industry charts its future together.
At NAB Show, exhibitors like ENCO don’t just showcase — they accelerate.
