More Ways to Connect, More Ways to Grow at NAB Show 2027
Originally presented: October 30, 2026
How is NAB Show creating new ways for exhibitors to connect with buyers? What opportunities will help companies demonstrate the real-world value of their technology? And what can exhibitors do to start building valuable connections before the show?
NAB Show 2027 is introducing new experiences designed to help exhibitors showcase solutions, reach growing buyer communities and create more business opportunities. In this Exhibitor Town Hall, NAB Show’s Eric Trabb, senior vice president of Strategic Partnerships and Alliances, and Monica Cho, vice president of content strategy and programs, join Nathan Volchko of Diversified and Yesenia Tokosch of Grip to preview three additions for 2027: an enterprise media experience, expanded Sports Summit and “Let’s Meet,” a networking experience designed to connect exhibitors with relevant buyers.
Key Takeaways:
➡️ NAB Show 2027 will create more opportunities for exhibitors to demonstrate technology within real-world enterprise media workflows.
➡️ The expanded Sports Summit will connect industry conversations with hands-on technology experiences.
➡️ “Let’s Meet” will help exhibitors identify and connect with prospective buyers before the show.
What These Changes Mean for Exhibitors
Showcase Your Technology in a Live Enterprise Media Operation
Enterprise media teams increasingly rely on sophisticated production technologies and workflows traditionally associated with broadcasters. At NAB Show 2027, we’re bringing those applications to life through a new working enterprise media environment.
Rather than showcasing individual products in isolation, the experience will demonstrate how technologies from multiple manufacturers work together across an end-to-end workflow. Plans include a working control room, studio and podcast space, hybrid office, and adjacent Enterprise Media Theater.
For exhibitors, this highly visible show floor experience creates opportunities to demonstrate how your solutions fit into larger enterprise workflows while connecting directly with enterprise buyers, a growing audience at the show.
Bring Sports Technology Off the Stage and Into Action
Our popular Sports Summit continues to expand. In 2027, we’re pairing timely conversations and panel discussions with more opportunities for attendees to experience the technology behind it.
A new Experience Zone will sit beside the Sports Summit Theater, giving exhibitors and partners space to demonstrate emerging technologies across sports production, venue experiences, storytelling and fan engagement.
Take your ideas from the stage to the Experience Zone with an interactive activation that demonstrates a clear, real-world application for your technology.
The Sports Summit will explore three key areas: the business of sports media, live production and technology, and fan engagement and monetization. Topics will range from rights and streaming to AI, cloud production, next-generation venues, advertising, commerce and athlete-led media.
Exhibitor takeaway: Consider how an experience, workflow or customer story can connect your technology to a real-world sports application.
Start Building Buyer Connections Before You Arrive
Our new networking experience “Let’s Meet” will help exhibitors and attendees find relevant connections based on their goals and interests before the show.
Participants will build profiles identifying what they want to accomplish. The platform will recommend connections while providing insight into why they may be a match. You’ll also be able to search and filter participants to identify people and companies you want to meet.
Both participants must agree to a meeting, with confirmed meetings taking place in a dedicated Meeting Hub on site.
Exhibitor takeaway: Make networking a part of your pre-show strategy. Know who you want to reach, build a strong profile and start making connections before you arrive.
