From Product Launches to Real-World Feedback: Why Haivision Returns to NAB Show New York
For Haivision, a video networking and visual collaboration solutions provider, the spring and fall cadence of NAB Show and NAB Show New York aligns with their product cycle: they launch products at NAB Show and use NAB Show New York to reconnect with customers once they’ve used the products in real-world workflows.
For example, at the 2025 NAB Show New York, Haivision showcased its mobile transmitter, Haivision Falcon X2, which it debuted at NAB Show Las Vegas the previous spring.
“[Customers] are already starting to use this product,” said Mark Horchler, product marketing director at Haivision. “So, we’re getting their feedback and hearing about some really exciting projects using our mobile transmitters.”
Because many of Haivision’s customers across sports and news are based in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, NAB Show New York is an ideal place to reconnect in person.
“All of our big customers have a presence here,” Horchler said. “They’re all available within a couple hours commute … so it’s a great place to catch up.”
The main value is meeting customers in person, and hearing from them firsthand what they’re working on and what they see. Nothing replaces getting to see people in person.

Same Customers, Different Conversations
Attending both NAB Show Las Vegas and NAB Show New York also allows Haivision to connect with different teams from the same organizations. Some customers visit the New York show specifically to experience products their colleagues saw in Las Vegas months earlier.
NAB Show New York also attracts many of Haivision’s existing customers, including broadcast engineers, contribution engineers and production staff.
“We get to meet a lot of the customers and talk to them about what they’re looking to do and their own broadcast production goals, Horchler said.”
Those conversations help Haivision better understand how broadcasters are integrating products into evolving workflows and the future of the industry.
Following the Show, Haivision’s team compiles insights gathered on-site into a report to share with product managers and development teams, driving future priorities and product enhancements.
