Exhibitor Spotlight: Grass Valley.
‘Everyone You Want to Speak to’ is at NAB Show New York
For global production technology company Grass Valley, NAB Show New York provides a concentration of industry leaders that creates valuable opportunities for deeper conversations and collaboration.
Many of Grass Valley’s most influential partners — including major broadcasters NBC, Paramount and Fox, along with live sports networks producing NFL and NBA coverage — attend NAB Show New York.
“This is the show where we get to sit down with the decision makers from the large media companies,” said Alex Keighley, senior vice president of sales at Grass Valley. “The audience here is everybody you want to speak to.”
With more than 11,500 attendees from 95 countries in 2025, NAB Show New York creates a concentrated environment for the kinds of face-to-face conversations Grass Valley values most.
NAB Show New York also stands apart from larger industry events because of the quality time exhibitors spend with customers. In 2025, attendees spent an average of five hours on the show floor engaging directly with exhibitors, according to post-show attendee data. That level of access is one reason Grass Valley continues to invest in the event year after year.
“It’s a must-exhibit show,” Keighley said. “I’ll see every single one of our competitors and vendors. And as I know most of the people personally, I’ll probably see 700 people that I know. But it’s everything to everybody to be at this show.”

Products Shaping Live Production
On the show floor, Grass Valley’s booth drew steady crowds to explore their latest live production technology, demonstrating how the company blends broadcast craftsmanship with cloud-based innovation.
The opportunity for potential customers to experience products in person remains one of the biggest advantages of exhibiting at NAB Show New York.
“I think with cameras, they’re things of beauty,” Keighley said. “People like to see them and touch them and ‘What does that button do?’ And you can’t describe that over video. You can’t describe that in a phone call.”
The booth experience also creates opportunities for deeper industry conversations, which help shape future product development.
“We’ve got product managers here, we’ve got the fantastic demo guys … there’s a lot of knowledge at the booth,” Keighley said. “They’re saying, ‘What do you think is happening to the industry? What are we going to do? How are we going to do things better?’ They want our opinion.”
As the industry continues evolving toward more flexible, software-defined workflows, NAB Show New York remains an important place for Grass Valley to connect with customers and showcase innovations in live production.
