Beware of NAB Show Scams.

Home / Resources / Las Vegas / Exhibitor Resources / Beware of NAB Show Scams

NAB Show exhibitors and attendees should be aware of unauthorized third-party companies attempting to scam participants with fraudulent offers for hotel reservations, attendee lists, and other services. These companies have no affiliation with NAB Show and often use deceptive tactics to appear legitimate.

Official NAB Show Partners

To protect yourself, always work with NAB Show’s official vendors:

Common Scams to Avoid

Hotel List Scams

Several exhibitors and attendees have reported being contacted by fraudulent companies offering discount hotel rooms. These companies may require full prepayment or claim to offer special rates that don’t actually exist.

Reminder: NAB Show never requires deposits for hotel bookings. Only Expovision can provide official NAB Show rates and perks like discounted resort fees and free shuttle service.

How to book safely: Always book through Expovision at [email protected] or call (888) 622-8830.

Attendee List Scams

Fraudulent companies often claim to sell NAB Show attendee lists, but these offers are always fake. Due to strict privacy laws, NAB Show does not sell or provide attendee lists to third parties.

Warning: If you receive an offer to buy NAB Show attendee data, it is a scam.

How to connect with attendees: Use NAB Show’s official networking tools, such as MyNABShow Planner and on-site events.

Other Common Scams

Fake Directory Listings – Some companies ask exhibitors to pay for listings in unofficial directories. Always check NAB Show’s official exhibitor directory.

Phishing Emails and Fake Invoices – Be cautious of emails that look like they come from NAB Show but request sensitive information or payment for unauthorized services.

How to Report a Scam

If you are contacted by a suspicious company, do not engage. Instead, forward the details to [email protected] so we can investigate.

Stay vigilant and always verify official NAB Show communications before making payments or sharing information.
