Compare, Connect, Decide: NAB Show New York 2026 Gives Media Technology Buyers a Hands-On Marketplace

Some 250 participating companies span production, AI, streaming, cloud, infrastructure and technologies reshaping the business of media

Washington, D.C. — The technologies changing media are increasingly interconnected, and the companies gathering at NAB Show New York 2026, Oct. 21–22 at the Javits Center, reflect an industry where production, streaming, artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure and business strategy are converging.

NAB Show New York, the East Coast marketplace for media innovation, will feature some 250 participating companies, at least 37 of which are first-time NAB Show New York exhibitors. About 23% are from outside the United States. The global mix spans technologies serving broadcasters, streamers, sports producers, creators and enterprise studios.

Beyond the exhibits, NAB Show New York will feature about 64 hours of educational programming that examines the business and technology shifts reshaping media, including investment and consolidation, creator-led businesses, sports media economics and practical implementation of AI. Theater sponsors include CNN Newsource, Electric Sheep, Katapy, MM Digital Collective (Modern Mirror) and Shure.

“The show floor is a real-time look at where media organizations are investing and where technology is heading,” said Karen Chupka, executive vice president, Global Connections and Events at NAB. “The lines between production, IT, streaming, cloud and AI continue to blur. NAB Show New York gives buyers an opportunity to put those pieces together, compare solutions side by side and talk directly with the companies building what comes next.”

Production Remains the Foundation but Is Increasingly Connected

Production is the largest identified technology category, representing approximately 42% of participating companies. About 33% offer infrastructure, IT networking or security solutions, while roughly 25% list asset management, automation and playout, and a similar share list media supply chain automation and management. These categories overlap, reflecting an industry in which production is increasingly inseparable from the technology and infrastructure around it.

Major exhibitors include Sony Electronics, B&H, Blackmagic Design, Canon U.S.A., EVS, Evertz, Grass Valley, Ross Video, Riedel Communications, Lawo, ENCO and Facilis Technology, spanning cameras, live production, communications, storage, workflow and broadcast infrastructure.

For corporate enterprise and brand studios, Dell Technologies and Sennheiser add infrastructure and professional audio offerings to a show floor spanning the creative and technical sides of modern media operations.

Content creators and storytellers can explore lighting and audio equipment from Aputure Deity amaran and creative tools from Maxon, alongside production and post-production technologies used across the industry.

Radio and television broadcasters will find suppliers spanning transmission, automation, monitoring and integrated media workflows, including Dalet, GatesAir, Telos Alliance, WideOrbit, RCS, Cobalt Digital, Wheatstone, Rohde & Schwarz, Broadcast Electronics and Heartland Video Systems.

The breadth reflects an industry moving toward more flexible, software-driven and interconnected workflows as organizations seek to produce more content across more platforms while improving efficiency.

Streaming Becomes Part of the Core Media Workflow

Streaming is now integral to the broader media workflow. At least 66 companies are associated with streaming technologies, while 51 offer cloud computing and storage solutions and 42 offer remote production technologies. Those capabilities are increasingly interconnected as media organizations seek to produce, manage and distribute content across more platforms.

Companies across the marketplace are addressing content delivery, personalization, automation, storage and distributed production as media organizations rethink how content moves from creation to audiences. The trend mirrors show programming focused on changing audience expectations, monetization and the evolution of streaming products.

Examples of companies addressing streaming and digital distribution include Amazon Web Services, Ateme, Haivision, MediaKind and Telestream, spanning cloud infrastructure, video processing, content delivery and workflow tools.

Sports and Live Production Connect the Technology Ecosystem

Live sports and events bring together production, replay, graphics, communications and distribution technologies. Fujifilm, Chyron, RTS Intercom Systems and Comrex join EVS, Grass Valley, Riedel Communications, Ross Video, Sony Electronics and Lawo among companies with solutions relevant to live production and sports coverage.

AI Moves into Real-World Workflows

Artificial intelligence is also becoming embedded across the media technology stack. At least 33 participating companies identify AI and machine learning among their product categories, with applications extending into content discovery, production, analytics, transcription, automation and workflow management.

Where Media Decisionmakers Come Ready to Do Business

NAB Show New York brings together the people who fund, build, buy and monetize media, and they come prepared to make business decisions. Buyers are expected to account for 80% of attendees, including more than 3,300 executive buyers. The show’s audience data underscores that purchasing influence: 35% of attendees have final purchasing authority, 26% specify suppliers and 48% recommend purchases.

That buying power extends well beyond traditional broadcasting. Corporate and brand studios represent the largest buyer segment at 29%, followed by film and television professionals at 18%, content creators and storytellers at 17% and broadcasters at 15%. With 64% of buyers expected to be first-time attendees, the show also creates opportunities for exhibitors to establish new business relationships and reach new customers.

Together, these trends underscore NAB Show New York’s focus on the business of media, creator-led enterprises, sports and the practical adoption of AI.
