Drawing on their experience working with directors, cinematographers and colorists across the country and around the world, they’ll share how remote monitoring, remote grading and iPad-based review bring filmmakers into the finishing process wherever they are. Learn how Nice Dissolve approaches live creative feedback, maintains a shared visual reference across locations, and builds flexible workflows around the needs of independent productions.

Through examples from their work, Pierce and Joseph will discuss connecting a grading theater, a colorist’s home studio and filmmakers watching remotely into a shared creative session. They’ll explore where these tools save time, what requires preparation and how to help participants feel confident in what they’re seeing.

The session will explore both the technology and the human side of remote collaboration: helping filmmakers communicate about the image, make creative decisions together, and keep projects moving from edit to finish without requiring everyone to be in the same room.
