Traditional broadcast architecture relies on peak-capacity engineering and fixed hardware stacks to guarantee reliability. Today, that approach drives up costs and severely limits utilization. Media organizations must now deliver far more content across diverse formats with the same budget and headcount, making static infrastructure financially unsustainable.

This panel outlines the transition to a Dynamic Media Facility (DMF). Industry leaders will share how to overlay dynamic workflows onto existing SMPTE ST 2110 investments, enabling hybrid and cloud capacity bursts for specific shows without requiring a full plant overhaul.

Crucially, the session addresses operational readiness. When software allows environments to be reconfigured on demand, traditional boundaries between engineering and operations must be rewritten.
