
Keyana Pusey is Assistant General Counsel for Intellectual Property at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), where she advises on copyright, artificial intelligence, licensing, trademark enforcement, and privacy. In this role, she also leads regulatory advocacy efforts on copyright and AI-related policy matters, including submitting comments in federal agency proceedings.
Prior to joining NAB, Keyana served as an Attorney Advisor in the U.S. Copyright Office’s Barbara A. Ringer Honors Program, where she worked on a range of copyright law and policy matters and contributed to the U.S. government’s Supreme Court brief in Andy Warhol Foundation v. Goldsmith.
Earlier in her career, Keyana gained experience in media and entertainment law through roles at PBS and in private practice, where she worked on licensing and production-related agreements.
She is also active in industry and community initiatives, serving in a leadership role with LegallyBlack, a nonprofit focused on expanding access to intellectual property education, and as a member of the Leadership Music Class of 2026, a national program that brings together emerging leaders across the music industry for immersive learning and industry engagement.
Keyana holds a J.D. from American University Washington College of Law and a B.A. from Temple University, where she was recognized as a 2026 30 Under 30 honoree.
