Jonas Ribeiro is a technology executive at Globo, focused on building and operating large-scale media delivery platforms across broadcast, pay TV, and streaming. His work spans the full engineering stack from producing, encoding, packaging, and transport to distribution, terrestrial transmission and OTT/CDN, supporting high-performance live and on-demand content at national scale in a continental country.

He is deeply involved in the evolution of next-generation television in Brazil through DTV+, leading efforts that combine broadcast and broadband into a unified delivery model. His work also includes private 5G for production, connectivity, infrastructure orchestration, and the continuous pursuit of lower latency, higher reliability, and more efficient content delivery, while enabling new monetization capabilities across both linear and streaming environments.

At NAB, Jonas will share an engineering-driven perspective on the development of the DTV+ core platform in Brazil, and how an orchestration layer helping to manage one of the most complex broadcast transformations at scale, integrating multiple technologies, networks and stakeholders into a cohesive, scalable and future-ready platform.
