
Josemaria Soriano is the Growth Product Lead for Media, Sports, and Enterprise Video at Reka. Soriano specializes in the creation of personalized clip and content generation at scale, a process that integrates deep research models—analyzing social media and consumer trends—with vision models to identify specific virality components within raw footage. This technical synergy enables organizations to transform vast video archives into high-reach, personalized content tailored for specific audience segments.
Soriano manages the product roadmap and go-to-market strategies for Reka’s Media and Enterprise divisions. His work includes deploying AI models for contextual metadata tagging, natural language archive search, brand logo detection in advertising, and real-time sentiment analysis for content repurposing.
Prior to joining Reka, Soriano served as a Product and Business Lead at Octus, where he directed the development of AI-powered private credit solutions and real-time data extraction from SEC filings. His professional background also includes investment banking at JPMorgan, where he executed over $9 billion in debt issuances within the Energy and Development Finance sectors, including landmark sustainable debt transactions in emerging markets.
Soriano holds a Master of Science in Systems Engineering and double Bachelor’s degrees in Physics and Financial Mathematics from St. Mary’s University. His multidisciplinary background enables him to translate advanced vision models into the specific performance metrics and commercial returns required by global media and marketing organizations.
