Thomas Bostrøm Jørgensen joined Appear as CEO in January 2021 to accelerate growth and increase market share for Appear within the media-tech industry. He previously led AllClear ID’s EMEA operations, acquired through Encap Security, where he propelled the startup into a VC-backed industry leader serving 40+ banks and 3 million users. Earlier, as Luup’s CEO, he transformed it into a global B2B mobile services provider for entities like Deutsche Bank. Thomas kickstarted his career at TANDBERG Television, specializing in digital-TV broadcasting tech. He holds a Master’s in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTNU and UCSB.
