Michael LoFaso is the Co-CEO of prominent TV and film production company Rideback (Lilo & Stitch, Avatar: The Last Airbender) and Co-Founder and CEO of Spuree (Magic Tree House), a new venture-backed tech-based entertainment company, incubated at Rideback, that focuses on providing creators, artists and IP rightsholders with a new AI-enabled platform to reduce barriers to storytelling. In his position at Spuree and Rideback, Michael works at the intersection of film, TV, animation, digital, technology, and AI. Prior to joining Rideback, Michael was a Vice President at TPG and CAA’s joint venture investment firm focused on investments at the intersection of media and technology. He also co-founded FTS (acquired in 2018) and Playbook Technologies (digital marketplace for the health and wellness industry). He began his career at Morgan Stanley. Michael graduated from Harvard Business School where he was an entrepreneur in the Harvard Innovation Lab. LoFaso serves on the Board of Directors of Rideback RISE, a 501c3 non-profit content accelerator that seeks to advance racial equity by increasing the development of mainstream entertainment by POC creators and filmmakers.
