
Will Payne is a senior newsroom leader and digital strategist. As Deputy Editor-in-Chief of The New York Post Media Group, reporting directly to Editor-in-Chief Keith Poole, he helps oversee editorial strategy and audience growth, driving the brand’s expansion across platforms and markets.
Payne previously spent more than a decade at The Sun, where he rose to Director of Digital (Editorial). There, he led a major transformation of its online operation, launched its US business, played a pivotal role in its subscription strategy and revolutionized its audiovisual output.
He began his career at The BBC before working in some of the UK’s biggest newsrooms, including the Daily Mail and the Daily Mirror.
